Sing Up

“Energy” has been enjoyed and sung by children at Cowlersley Primary School for the last 12 years.  The words were written by Marilyn Islip a past teacher of Cowlersley and the music was written by Margaret Dunlop – current Music Teacher at the school. 

The song is part of a group of science related songs and designed to help children understand scientific language and concepts. 

This recording is taken from a professional school CD that was made in 2004 containing some of the children’s favourite songs – many of which are still very popular.
