Didar Bahra

Didar’s media career dates back to 1980 when she was a presenter of an educational programme in the Midlands.  She then went onto produce and present programmes across the UK. She has extensive management experience in the youth and community field and in the media. Under the category of Arts, Dee has won the Millennium Achievers Award 2000 for her involvement in the radio, won special other awards for her achievements in the media and in the youth and community field of lifelong learning.

She has recently received a special award for her contribution in the organisation of very successful community events from the International Students Association of the University of Loughborough. Now she's part of lif in Kirklees and Calderdale with the Asian Connection...catch it this Sunday from 7pm!
